Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of homestretchexit.com and to any products you buy from HomeStretch LLC ("Homestretch," "we," "us"). By using the site or placing an order you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Homestretch is for owners of businesses in the United States and is not offered in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland.

2. What Homestretch provides

Homestretch provides educational information and planning guidance to help owners get a business ready to sell. This includes the free Buyer's-Eye Score, the Valuation Snapshot, the Exit Readiness Plan, the Value Plan subscription, and Sale Prep Coaching.

• We are not a business broker, investment banker, appraiser, lawyer, accountant or tax advisor, and we do not act as your agent in any sale. We do not find buyers, negotiate for you or take a commission on a sale. Sale Prep Coaching is preparation coaching only. It does not include representation, introductions to buyers, negotiation, or advice on offers or deal terms.
• Valuations and scores are indicative estimates based on the information you give us and general market practice. They are not appraisals, offers, guarantees or predictions of the price you will receive. Actual results depend on buyers, terms, timing and facts we may not know.
• You should get advice from your own legal, tax and financial professionals before making decisions about selling.

3. Your information

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of what you give us. Our work depends on it. You confirm that you have the right to share any documents you upload, including information about employees and customers. We may use de-identified results, without your name or business details, in anonymous benchmarks and reports, as described in our Privacy Policy. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. AI and human review

We use AI tools to help prepare reports, and a person reviews, edits and approves each report before it is delivered. AI can make errors. Please read your report carefully and tell us about anything that looks wrong.

5. Prices, payment and refunds

• Current prices are shown on the site or in your order confirmation. The Valuation Snapshot is credited toward an Exit Readiness Plan if you buy the Plan within 30 days of the Snapshot.
• The Value Plan is a monthly subscription with no minimum term. It renews monthly until cancelled, and you can cancel any time by emailing us.
• Sale Prep Coaching is a monthly subscription with no minimum term. It renews monthly until cancelled, and you can cancel any time by emailing us.
• Refunds: if you ask for a refund before we have started work on your order, we will refund it in full. After work has started, we will discuss a fair partial refund if you are not satisfied.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.

6. Relationship with B2 Partners

Homestretch is an independent business affiliated with B2 Partners, a private investment firm that buys businesses. You are under no obligation to consider, talk to or sell to B2. We will not share your information with B2 or any other buyer without your express consent, and any B2 offer would be on market terms.

7. Confidentiality

We treat the business information you give us as confidential and use it only to provide our services, as described in the Privacy Policy. We will not share it with any prospective buyer, including B2, without your written permission.

8. Intellectual property

The Homestretch name, site, quiz, and our materials belong to us. Your reports are for your own use in planning and in discussions with your advisors and prospective buyers. Please do not resell or republish them. You keep ownership of the information you give us.

9. Acceptable use

Please do not misuse the site, attempt to break or probe its security, upload harmful files, or submit information that is false or that you have no right to share.

10. Disclaimers

The site and our services are provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including any warranty about the price you will receive or whether you will complete a sale.

11. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim related to Homestretch is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or lost profits or sale proceeds.

12. Changes to the service or terms

We may update these terms or the services from time to time. If changes are significant we will tell you by email. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
